Una entretenida historia llevada del cine a las páginas de un libro gracias al escritor inglés Campbell Black.

El profesor de arqueología Henry Jones Jr., mejor conocido como Indiana Jones o Indy, viene en esta oportunidad como protagonista de una emocionante aventura que parte en Suramérica en un templo en Perú, quien pretende encontrar una reliquia (el Ídolo de los guerreros chachapoyan) antes que su rival y enemigo, el francés René Emile Belloq, lo haga; para desventura de Indy, Belloq parece estar un paso delante, con su famosa expresión “no puede usted tener nada que yo no pueda quitarle”.

De vuelta a Estados Unidos, representantes del Ejército lo contactan para que les ayude con un telegrama alemán interceptado. Dicho telegrama hace referencia a unas excavaciones en Egipto, las cuales lo llevarán al Arca de la Alianza. Sólo hay una persona completamente experta en este objeto, el profesor Ravenwood, padre de Marion, con quien Indy tuvo una relación.

En esta aventura, Indiana tiene que adelantarse a los nazis (y a Belloq) antes que ellos consigan el Arca y éste sea utilizado para el mal. Tanto nazis como americanos saben que el Arca de la Alianza es el objeto más sagrado de la Humanidad y que encierra un poder extraordinario.

Una historia emocionante en la que se combinan amor, aventuras y fuerzas sobrenaturales, que tendrá un desenlace sorprendente.

An entertaining story taken from the film to the pages of a book thanks to the English writer Campbell Black.

The archeology professor Henry Jones Jr., better known as Indiana Jones or Indy, in this opportunity comes as the main character of this exciting adventure which starts in South America, in a Peru’s temple. Indiana tries to find a relic (the Idol of Chachapoyan warriors) before his rival and enemy, the French René Emile Belloq, does. Unfortunately, Belloq seems to be one step ahead, with his typical expression: “you can’t have anything that I can’t take from you”.

After he returns to the United States, Army agents contact him for asking some help with a German telegram intercepted. This telegram refers to some Egyptians excavations, which conduct him to the Ark of Covenant. There is just one person completely expert in this object, professor Ravenwood, who is also the Marion’s father, a woman whom Indy had a relationship.

In this adventure, Indiana has to go faster than Nazis and Belloq, before they find the Ark and it will be used for evil purposes. Both Nazis and Americans know that the Ark of Covenant is the most sacred object in Humanity and it keeps an extraordinary power inside it.

An exciting story that combines love, adventure and supernatural forces, which will have a surprising ending.
